Outreach

I like to talk to school students about pursuing science and research, especially when I visit India. Astronomy, its stars and planets provide natural starting points for discussing science with young minds, because of its grandness, and easy access (just look up at the sky!).

I think interest in science is critical as we battle complex global issues such as climate change, which need innovative interdisciplinary solutions that can work on different scales.
